What If the Bible is True?

Bible-reading

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. Romans 15:4

I am laying in bed at 5:00 am, two hours before my alarm goes off. My mind is bouncing like a ping-pong ball. It started out with Vladimir Putin and the UN (weird right?!). Then it bounced to the moral decay in our society. Then it bounced to my recent warning from a local public school to not mention God or my religion when I came in to speak.

Our founding fathers must be banging their heads against the pearly gates when they see what has become of the separation of church and state. They have to think what morons we are for the way America does it now.

They were abolishing government-run church. They didn’t want the king and his politics governing people’s faith. That’s what was happening.

They never intended it to silence the Good Book.

So to those who are terrified that this book might get cracked open, I simply ask,”What if the Bible is true?”

It is a book from God.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Tim. 3:16

It speaks life.

Hold firmly to the word of life. Phil. 2:16

The book brings life.

Consider this: American schools lead the world in aggressively removing the word of life from school houses. They also lead the world in school deaths.

It will judge you.

The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. John 12:48

Now, you have to decide for yourself. Read it. Examine it. Test it.

Because if its true you can’t afford to get that wrong.
