Lord, I Don’t Want To Leave You

31dayswjesus

But Jesus’ friends, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance watching. Luke 23:49

Standing near the cross were Jesus’ mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary, the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. John 19:25

These women didn’t leave you. These were the bravest, strongest and most full of faith women ever in history. They stayed with you through the darkest hours of your life, the darkest hours of the universe. These women never left you.

I don’t want to leave you. I don’t want to leave you the darkest hours either. I want to be as brave, as strong and as full of faith as these women.

My worst fear is that I am not. I wonder how these women got ready for this. How did you prepare them for this? Prepare me as well. Whatever you poured into these women please pour into me. Please, Lord, I don’t want to leave you.
