I Am He

Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” John 4:26

 

I know you love the little children of the world. I know the Bible tells me so.

I know you died on a cross and in three days you rose again.

But I don’t want to know what you did. I don’t want to know what you do. I want to know you.

I am a sinner.

I am your Advocate.

I am afraid.

I am your Rock.

I am wandering.

I am your Leader.

I am confused.

I am your Counselor. 

I am hungry.

I am your Bread. 

I am weary from grief.

I am Life.

I am weak.

I am Mighty.

I am lonely.

I am Immanuel. 

I am accused.

I am your Defender. 

I just want to know you.

Dear one, you do. 

As Jesus said “I Am he,” they all drew back and fell to the ground! John 18:6
