But I Am Disabled

31dayswjesus

When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her,“Woman, you are freed from your disability.” Luke 13:12

Jesus are you sure you want me? I have nothing to offer you. I just have this old pile of bones. I just have this bag of mistakes and regrets. I have nothing you could possibly want.

I am crippled by fear. I choke on my words. I am blinded by pride. I deafened by self-doubt. I am disabled.

“Woman, you are freed from you disability?”

It took me a minute to absorb the gravity of what just happened.

I am healed?

I am freed?

I can walk.

I can see.

I can hear.

I have experienced forgiveness that I cannot comprehend. I have encountered grace. I have tasted mercy. I have bathed in supernatural comfort.

His name is Jesus.

I have been freed from my disability.
